  1. How much are tuition fees and other expenses?
  2. Does the department offer PhD?
    • No, the department currently only offers bachelors degree and masters degree in mechanical engineering.
  3. Can my institution/I personally use the department's resources/machines for a project?
    • Yes,email the department first at upme@coe.upd.edu.ph, since usage rates will vary on the project.
  4. Does the department offer tech-vocational courses?
    • All tech-voc programs and courses from each engineering department are handled by the National Engineering Center, check their website at http://www.upnec.com/
  5. Does undergraduate program require thesis?
    • No, the current curriculum requires one (1) Machine Design Project (ME 155) and one Power Plant Project (ME 188). However, future curriculum revisions plan on requiring thesis in the future.
  6. Are there online courses offered in BS or MS ME?
    • No
  7. How to be admitted into MS ME program?
    • All graduate courses are handled by the College of Engineering, National Graduate School of Engineering at http://coe.upd.edu.ph
