Daryl Cielo is a Lecturer of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, UP Diliman. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2014 and his Masters Degree from The University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2020. He has been with the Department since 2021 and has been in charge of refurbishing the DME Power Lab. His research interest is on the subject of renewable energy and how it can contribute to the sustainability and energy efficiency of the built environment. His latest research publication is on the topic of net zero energy buildings in New Zealand.
