Dr. Gerald Jo C. Denoga is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of UP Diliman. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, and a doctorate in Energy Engineering. He established the Design and Manufacturing Center of the Department and currently the head of the Machine Design Laboratory. His latest research include the design of a more fuel-efficient hybrid electric drivetrain for public utility vehicles, as well as mathematical modelling of transient stochastic systems. His collaborations with industry include the design and development of commercially successful biomedical products. Dr. Denoga is currently the Associate Dean for Research of the UPD College of Engineering.
